About Seventh-day Adventists General Conference Headquarters
Silver Spring, Maryland, USA

Seventh-day Adventists are Christians who base their faith in God as revealed through Jesus Christ in the Bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit. We are committed to lives that demonstrate an allegiance to God and His plan for us. Seventh-day Adventists actively participate in communicating hope for the present by sharing the quality of life that is available completely through Christ Jesus and by sharing the good news of salvation and God’s free gift of eternal life for all who choose to follow Him. We look forward to the second coming of Jesus as promised in the Bible. To better understand who we are, you are invited to click here to view Hands of Hope.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is known world-wide for its large educational system, which includes universities such as Loma Linda whose Medical Center has pioneered many new treatments for diseases. Through this world-wide network of schools, we seek to better humanity providing education and vocational training.

Through the Adventist Development and Relief Agency and other ministries, individuals throughout the world receive practical assistance in times of disadvantage, without regard for race, religion or nationality. Youth camps, community service centers, family life initiatives and other venues assist individuals desiring to eradicate harmful dependencies from their lives.
