About the Book

This 40-day devotional (Book 16) is designed to help believers seek a deeper walk with God and prepare spiritually for the final events of earth’s history. Its central focus is the experience described in the Laodicea message—an experience that leads to genuine revival, transformation, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

The devotional begins by highlighting signs of the times as a reminder that history is moving toward its conclusion and that spiritual readiness is essential. The rest of the book explores how believers can cultivate that readiness through a living connection with Christ and the daily work of the Holy Spirit.

It revisits the message of righteousness by faith emphasized in 1888, explaining why that message is still vital today. Ellen White’s writings are used to show how this message relates to the Holy Spirit, obedience, the loud cry, and the latter rain. The devotional emphasizes that Christ living within the believer is the source of true victory and spiritual power.

Later sections discuss the spiritual challenges God’s people will face, including deceptions that seek to weaken this message. The book encourages readers to remain grounded, Spirit-filled, and faithful despite these pressures.

Ultimately, the devotional invites participants into a renewed walk with Jesus—one that deepens faith, restores spiritual vitality, and prepares believers to stand with confidence as earth’s final events unfold.
