Cliff Island SDA Church
Cliff Island, ME 04019
Events
Come be a part of Cliff Island Day, August 17. Cliff Island is one of the oldest Adventist churches in Maine, and once a year we have a celebration and remember our history. Everyone is invited, and we typically have people from various churches on the mainland come to worship together at the one and only church on the island—a Seventh-day Adventist Church! You will need to take the 10:00 a.m. ferry from Casco Bay Lines in Portland, and arrive around noon. Bring a sack lunch and we will plan to eat there before we start the services. Remember to bring your water bottle. We will have Sabbath School and worship after we eat, then those who would like are welcome to explore the island and enjoy the scenery. There will be a ferry leaving Cliff Island at 4:15 p.m. and another one at 7:00 p.m. or if you prefer to enjoy the island longer, there is a 10:10 p.m. ferry!

Adventurer Bible Game
March 16, 2024
2:00pm - 5:00pm
A spiritual adventure with your family! (with kids ages 4-9)
Hanover, NH
Events
You are invited to participate in NNEC’s Adventurer Bible Game. It's a chance for parents and children to share meaningful moments while encouraging their spiritual growth.
Join us on March 16th in Hanover, NH, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for an unforgettable family experience!
Adventurer Bible Game is a great way to bring families closer through the joy of learning the Bible. Parents and children work together as a team to study the book of Luke.
On March 16, families from around the conference will come together for a trivia game to see how much you've learned.
Focus on the Book of Luke:
This year, our focus is on selected passages in the Gospel of Luke. As a family, you’ll study the book of Luke, or learn them in any other way that works for your family.
To explore the selected passages and familiarize yourself with the game rules, visit the website: ClubMinistries.org/Adventurer-Bible-Game.
A group of 4-6 kids along with one caregiver for each child (8-12 people total) will form a team. Each team will engage in spirited competition, answering a variety of multiple-choice and true/false questions inspired by the scriptures. The atmosphere is charged with positive energy as participants navigate the game, creating lasting memories and connections. Teams will cheer, jump up and down and encourage each other as they play along.
To ensure your family's participation, fill out the registration form available at https://form.jotform.com/adventurersnnec/abg . Don't have a team? No problem! We'll seamlessly match families, ensuring everyone gets to be part of this enriching experience. Have a friend whose family is playing to? Let us know and we can make sure your families are placed together on a team.

They have been involved in child sponsorship, hosting exchange students, mission trips, respite care, orphan hosting, and adopted two boys from Latvia (near the Russia border). They are currently pursuing the adoption of two girls from an orphanage in Bulgaria. Tom and Mara believe they are placed on earth to make a difference and feel compelled to save one more!
Hydrotherapy Training
October 15, 2023
10am - 3pm
This training is an opportunity for health ministry leaders to practice what they saw demonstrated at the Camp Lawroweld training.
Topsham SDA Church
Topsham, ME 04086
Events
Our focus for this training is hydrotherapy techniques!
If you are a health ministry leader (voted in by your church), then you will have an opportunity to practice what you saw demonstrated previously at Camp Lawroweld. If you are a health ministry leader who was not able to attend the training this past May, you are still invited to join us.
If you are a church member interested in attending the training to watch, learn, and go back to your church to teach your congregation, you must connect with the health ministry leader of your church before registering and must ask to join them. In the event that your church does not have a health leader, you must connect with your Pastor.
IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE COMING: Leaders -- you must bring the items listed under "hydrotherapy" in your medical missionary kit that you received back in May. We will break for lunch, so please make sure you bring your own sack lunch. Again, you must bring your own materials from the list and lunch as they will not be provided.
Sign up before Oct. 6 at https://hydrotherapy2023.eventbrite.com
Given the nature of the hands-on learning, this training will not be recorded.
Lastly, if you have any questions, please reach out to Kim at kim@dayspring4me.com
