Each One Reach One

We invite each of you to make this theme a buzzword in your local congregation to encourage each other to reach at least one person for Jesus in the year 2022.

"Each One Reach One" is our soul-winning theme for the year 2022 to encourage, train, empower, and mobilize every Adventist member in our conference to prayerfully conside, to commit, and to endeavor to lead at least one person to the saving knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ by the end of the year 2022.

This emphasis will provide opportunities for every member of our conference to positively respond to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ; "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15, NIV) and to fulfill the Gospel Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 to "go", to "make disciples", to "baptize", and to "teach" others to obey the Lord Jesus Christ.
“There is need of coming close to the people by personal effort. If less time were given to sermonizing, and more time were spent in personal ministry, greater results would be seen. The poor are to be relieved, the sick cared for, the sorrowing and the bereaved comforted, the ignorant instructed, the inexperienced counseled. We are to weep with those that weep, and rejoice with those that rejoice. Accompanied by the power of persuasion, the power of prayer, the power of the love of God, this work will not, cannot, be without fruit.”

- Ellen G. White (The Ministry of Healing, p. 143)

Currently he also serves as a trip manager for "Share Him," which is an Adventist organization dedicated to promoting global evangelism involving youth and young adults from around the world.  He is happily married over 30 years to Sherine Perera who is equally experienced in denominational service, and they both are blessed with three grown up daughters, two-sons-in-law, three grandsons, and one granddaughter. He enjoys reading, traveling, sightseeing, and involving and organizing overseas mission trips.
“Everywhere there is a tendency to substitute the work of organizations for individual effort. Human wisdom tends to consolidation, to centralization, to the building up of great churches and institutions. Multitudes leave to institutions and organizations the work of benevolence; they excuse themselves from contact with the world, and their hearts grow cold. They become self-absorbed and unimpressible. Love for God and man dies out of the soul. Christ commits to His followers an individual work,—a work that cannot be done by proxy. Ministry to the sick and the poor, the giving of the gospel to the lost, is not to be left to committees or organized charities. Individual responsibility, individual effort, personal sacrifice, is the requirement of the gospel.”

- Ellen G. White (The Ministry of Healing, p. 147)
