Alessandra grew up in Brazil and followed in her mother's footsteps by also serving in children's ministry. At the age of 16, she started teaching children's Sabbath School classes and has continued ever since. She has led the NNEC Children's Ministries for 12 years, training and equipping churches throughout the conference. She has organized training workshops, children's evangelistic seminars, family retreats, children’s health expo programs, and has led on children's camp meeting programs for many years. She loves making her home a little taste of heaven for her husband, Daniel Battin, treasurer for NNEC, and her 15-year-old daughter, Alessarah, whom they homeschool. In her spare time, you'll find her enjoying her garden, tending her flowers, hiking, or discovering nature object lessons to teach to children. Your children will be drawn closer to Jesus through her gentle and loving spirit.
