Camp Meeting Tent Comes Down

With fall upon us, the camp meeting main tent was taken down yesterday with the help of area pastors and conference staff. After this summer’s camp meeting weekend, the Freeport church and Pine Tree Academy asked for the main tent to be left up. They used it for a concert, daily outdoor classes, chapel and multiple other events. It was decided that it could be left until the weather changed and that time is here. The tent is still in need of repairs and the decision to use again, repair, or replace is still yet to be decided. If you’d like to move this decision forward, hit the “ROAR” button at the top of this page and give to the tent project.  🙂
